POLICE LOG for December 28: Car Broken Into; Vehicle Almost Run Off The Road; Grease Fire

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, December 28, 2021:
  • Porta-potty at Shawsheen Fields was tipped over. (1:01am)
  • A car struck a deer on Salem Street. Deer limped off. (1:39am)
  • Police assisted Fire Department with a grease fire on Pouliot Place. (8:55am)
  • A caller reported a truck tried to run her off the road and driver made gestures at her on Ballardvale Street, near Habit Burger. Police responded, but could not locate truck. (3:03pm)
  • A caller reported there is a broken down tractor trailer in the area of the Market Basket warehouse on Ballardvale Street that has been there since 8am this morning. Tractor trailer was in a bad spot. Vehicle was towed. (5:55pm)
  • A Belmont Ave caller reported their vehicle was broken into last night. Scratches on vehicle, windows are down at different levels, sun roof is open, and part of the car is ripped off. (7:27pm)
  • A caller reported a black sedan doing donuts in the St. Thomas church parking lot. (11:52pm)
