POLICE LOG for December 24: OUI Arrest; Bad Crash Sends 2 To Hospital; Road Rage Incident With Knife

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, December 24, 2021:
  • A caller reported a deer was struck at Woburn Street and Brentwood Avenue. Police responded. Deer was deceased. (4:05am)
  • A caller reported a road rage incident that began in Billerica and ended in Wilmington. Caller reported a male operator showed what appeared to be a knife and made slashing motions across his throat. Caller was advised to contact the Billerica Police as well. (8:32am)
  • A 3-vehicle crash occurred at Ballardvale Street and 93 South Exit 35 ramp. Airbags deployed. All vehicles towed. 2 individuals were transported to hospital with injuries. (6:19pm)
  • Pedro A. Pereira (37, Everett) was arrested for OUI Liquor; Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle; Possession Of An Opening Container Of Alcohol In A Motor Vehicle; and Warrant. (10:50pm)
