POLICE LOG for December 22: Home Burglarized; Group Home Fight Sends 1 Teen To Hospital

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, December 22, 2021:
  • A Dublin Avenue caller reported a man was walking around his neighbor’s house. When the caller called out to the party, he took off running in between properties towards Kirk Street. Police responded, but were unable to locate the man. (5:15am)
  • Police assisted with traffic for a cement spill clean up at Route 62 and 93 North Exit 34 ramp. (2:08pm)
  • Milestone Group Home employee reported 2 teens — one male and one female — were fighting. Staff was unable to handle. Police responded. One teen was transported to Winchester Hospital. (4:05pm)
  • A caller reported a vehicle crossed the double yellow line and almost struck him head on on Lowell Street. Police was unable to locate. (4:15pm)
  • Police assisted with a SWAT call in Waltham. (7:55pm)
  • A caller stated his parents returned to their Border Avenue home at 7:30pm and observed their back porch door smashed and items tossed all over the house. Detectives responded. (8:09pm)
