POLICE LOG for December 20: Driver Issued Summons; Vehicle Runs Out Of Gas On Highway Off-Ramp

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, December 20, 2021:
  • Police conducted checks of areas on Jewel Drive, West Street and Industrial Way due to recent catalytic converter larcenies. (2:59am)
  • Pouliot Place caller reported their recycling container was missing. Police notified DPW. (9:53am)
  • Animal Control Officer removed a squirrel from the basement of a Cochrane Road home. (12:54pm)
  • A caller reported her vehicle broke down on the off-ramp of 93 North Exit 34 and she’s blocking traffic. Vehicle had run out of gas and was towed. (3:51pm)
  • A man reported a past hit and run in the Market Basket parking lot at approximately 3:45pm. (5:07pm)
  • Lewis Frank Farrell (40, Billerica) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License and Speeding. (5:40pm)
