POLICE LOG for December 19: Billerica Man Issued Summons For Vandalism; Man Laying On Train Tracks; Stolen Package From Porch Not What It Seems

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, December 19, 2021:
  • Sean J. Hannon (29, North Billerica) was issued a summons for Vandalizing Property. (1:29am)
  • Police was flagged down and told there was a male party laying on the train tracks near Market Basket on East Street in Tewksbury. Tewksbury Police arrived on scene prior to Wilmington. (2:28am)
  • A caller reported a gray caravan with multiple youths in it took a package from Lloyd Road and left area headed towards Tewksbury. Police responded. Tewksbury Police stopped van in their town. Vehicle occupants stated they deliver packages for Instacart. Wilmington Police confirmed with homeowner they just had a grocery delivery and have all their items. Tewksbury Police released vehicle.
