POLICE LOG for December 8: Vehicles Entered Overnight; Trucks Take Down Wires; Fire On Train Tracks Not What It Appears

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, December 8, 2021:
  • A Ferguson Road caller reported their vehicle was entered sometime this morning. (6:41am)
  • Police pulled over a tractor trailer that pulled down a Comcast wire on Clark Street and drove on. Driver was unaware the wire came down. Minimal damage to truck. Comcast notified. (8:44am)
  • A Grace Driver caller reported his vehicle was entered and some items were displaced. (9:23am)
  • Oil truck driver reported his truck took down a wire on Morse Avenue. Verizon notified. (11:46am)
  • A fire was reported on the train tracks across from Firestone on Main Street. Police called Amtrak, which confirmed it was just track heaters. (9:49pm)
