POLICE LOG for December 2: Driver Issued Summons; School Drop-Off Issues

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, December 2, 2021:
  • Police notified DPW that a large amount of wood chips were in the roadway on Andover Street. (2:08am)
  • Jacob Alan Fox (19, Wilmington) was issued a summons for leaving the scene of property damage. Police responded to a 2-vehicle crash on Middlesex Avenue/Main Street. (7:40am)
  • Police received an anonymous complaint of parents parking in the roadway outside the North Intermediate School while dropping their kids off at school, causing a traffic concern at the corner of Salem Street and Ballardvale Street. (8:16am)
  • Police and Fire responded to small telephone pole fire on Laurel Avenue. (8:37am)
  • Animal Control Officer retrieved injured squirrel and brought to Newarc in Tewksbury. (8:59am)
