POLICE LOG for November 28: Wilmington Man Allegedly Pulls Gun On Delivery Driver; Tewksbury Man Arrested Following Chase

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, November 28, 2021:
  • 6 mailboxes on Main Street was vandalized overnight. (8:04am)
  • Police received report of 2 drivers arguing over who has the right of way on Butters Row Bridge, causing traffic to backup. (8:57am)
  • Police conducted fire lane enforcement at Wilmington Plaza, and moved along several vehicles. (12:57pm)
  • Police noted a train was blocking the roadway at the North Wilmington train station. (5:06pm)
  • An Andover Street resident reported someone dumped a large blue gymnastics mat at the end of their driveway. (5:28pm)
  • A man brought a machete to the station for destruction. (6:09pm)
  • Bryan Moran (38, Tewksbury) was arrested for Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle, Leaving Scene Of Property Damage, Possessing An Open Container Of Alcohol In A Motor Vehicle, Failure To Stop For Police, Speeding In Violation Of A Special Regulation, Marked Lanes Violation, Passing Violation, and Intimidating A Witness/Juror/Police/Court Official. (6:54pm)
  • Vehicle struck a guardrail on Research Drive. Called in by vehicle monitoring company. Vehicle towed. No injuries noted. (8:29pm)
  • Richard J. Towle (65, Wilmington) was issued a summons for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. Caller reported a man pulled a gun on him while making an Uber Eats delivery. Caller stated he fled. Police responded to man’s home. Man said he didn’t feel well. Man’s firearms, ammunition, and LTC card were confiscated. (9:20pm)
