POLICE LOG for November 21: Customer Steals Target Employee’s Walkie Talkie; Kids On Bikes In Starbucks Drive-Thru; Graffiti At Rite Aid

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, November 21, 2021:
  • Police noted there is new graffiti on the side of the vacant Rite Aid building. (2:47am)
  • Police restored the peace after responding to a boyfriend and girlfriend having a loud verbal argument outdoors on Church Street. (5:28am)
  • A walk-in party reported his vehicle was struck in the K1 Speed parking lot around 11pm last night. Business’s camera did not pick up incident. (1:04pm)
  • A Park St. resident reported his neighbor is blowing leaves onto his property. Police responded and spoke with both parties, who agreed to try to not blow leaves on each other’s properties. (1:44pm)
  • A caller reported a group of juveniles were riding their bikes around vehicles in the Starbucks drive-thru. Caller concerned for their safety. Police responded. A juvenile was on his bike purchasing a beverage in the drive-thru. (2:28pm)
  • A caller reported a customer stole a Target employee’s walkie talkie and is running around the store with it. Customer returned walkie talkie and then took a scanner. By the time police responded, man had left the store in his vehicle. Police pulled vehicle over and conducted a search, which yielded no results. Store no-trespassed the man. (7:39pm)
  • A juvenile left the Milestone Group Home on foot, but eventually returned. (8:18pm)
