POLICE LOG for November 20: Customer Punches Employee; Fire Hydrant Knocked Over

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, November 20, 2021:
  • A clerk at Sonny’s Mobil on the Run reported a man punched him in the stomach and left the area in a black limo. Police were unable to locate. Clerk declined medical attention and declined to press charges. (12:17am)
  • Police notified DPW that street sign at Ferguson Road and Shawsheen Avenue fell down and needs to be replaced. (2:40am)
  • Target employee reported a driver struck and knocked over a fire hydrant next to the store. No water is leaking. Water Department told police that the hydrant was installed privately and employee needs to contact company. (6:11am)
  • Police provided an escort for Wilmington Pop Warner team to Town Hall. (1:55pm)
  • Police noted a porta-potty at the Shawsheen Elementary School had been knocked over. (4:29pm)
