POLICE LOG for October 26: Student Drop-Off Issues At High School, Missing Juvenile Located

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, October 26, 2021:
  • A caller reported a parent dropped their child off in middle of Church Street for high school and another child was dropped off on Adams Street. School Resource Officer notified and will follow up with families. High school principal had recently sent a reminder out about the drop-off procedure. (7:38am)
  • Vehicle spun out and struck guardrail on 93 North, near Exit 33. Airbag deployed. No injuries. Vehicle towed. (9:32am)
  • Police issued a citation for failure to stop for a school bus. (2:43pm)
  • CVS employee reported 7 juveniles were in the store, some of whom previously vandalized it. Employee would like them to leave. Police responded. Juveniles were on their bikes in the parking lot. They denied ever vandalizing the store, and police advised them not to. Employee was satisfied. (5:08pm)
  • Wilmington Police assisted Tewksbury Police with the search for a missing juvenile. Tewksbury eventually located juvenile. (10:30pm)
