POLICE LOG for October 7: Truck Gone Through Overnight; Vehicle Crashes Into Wood; Man Caught Dumping Yardwaste On Conservation Land

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, October 7, 2021:
  • A caller reported his truck was went through last night on Wildwood Street. He didn’t want an officer to respond, but wanted the incident logged. He didn’t think anything was taken. (5:37am)
  • A vehicle crashed into the woods on West Street. Vehicle towed. No injuries noted. (6:59am)
  • Animal Control Officer transported injured bird to Rowley Animal Hospital. (12:17pm)
  • A caller reported a man was dumping grass clippings and yard waste on conservation land. Driver issued citation for unregistered motor vehicle and advised about dumping on conversation land. Driver picked up clippings. Plates confiscated. Vehicle towed. (5:15pm)
  • Wilmington Police assisted State Police with locating red pickup truck involved in a hit and run. (8:24pm)
