POLICE LOG for September 20: Handicap Parking Violations?; Vehicle Strikes Deer; Firefighter Helps Motorist With Disabled Vehicle

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, September 20, 2021:
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred near Firestone on Main Street. No injuries. Minor damage. Police assisted with paperwork exchange. (5:39am)
  • Police received report of a vehicle striking a deer on Woburn Street. (5:55am)
  • A fire lieutenant pushed a disabled vehicle on Main Street into the Rite Aid Parking Lot. (12:18am)
  • A caller reported 2 vehicles parked in handicap spots without placards. Caller asked them to move and they refused. Vehicles left by the time police arrived. (4:27pm)
  • Police notified MassDOT that traffic lights weren’t properly cycling at Andover Street and Route 125. (11:00pm)
