POLICE LOG for September 12: Driver In Trouble For Drugs; Suspicious Trash; Vehicle Hits Geese

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, September 12, 2021:
  • James B. Medeiros (29, Reading) was issued a summons for Possession of a Class B substance (x2). Police checked on a party at Speedway. Vehicle towed. (12:55am)
  • A caller reported a woman threw a large box into the trash near TJ Maxx and kept looking back at it as she was walking away. Caller felt it was suspicious and asked police to check out. Police responded. Brown Market Basket bag contained yard waste. (6:20pm)
  • A caller reported a vehicle hit a group of geese on Ballardvale Street and fled off. Caller believed one goose was injured. (7:22pm)
  • A Salem Street caller reported a motorcycle has been drag racing on their street for the past few nights. (11:26pm)
