POLICE LOG for September 6: Assault; Harassment; School Field Driven On; Dog Left In Vehicle

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, September 6, 2021:
  • Police assisted Tewksbury Police with reports of a man harassing employees and customers at Shell Gas Station on Main Street in Tewksbury. Man was advised not to return to the store for the day and gas station was advised of their no trespass options. (6:27am)
  • A caller reported she saw a purple liquid coming up from under the street near the hydrant on Sewell Road. Police responded and noted water may have come up from gate cover near hydrant. Water Department notified. (9:41am)
  • Police notified DPW that field at Boutwell Early Childhood Center had been driven on. (10:08am)
  • A caller reported a dog was left in a vehicle in the Market Basket parking lot. Police spoke with the owner and advised them it was not a preferred practice. (12:19pm)
  • A walk-in party turned in a purse she found in the TJ Maxx parking lot. (2:07pm)
  • A caller stated a male threatened and assaulted him and his brother last night. Same man threatened them with a rock earlier today. (3:13pm)
