POLICE LOG for September 4: Highway Crashes; Child Approached By Suspicious Man

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, September 4, 2021:
  • Bimbo Bakeries on Ballardvale Street reported an unruly truck driver who was being verbally abusive and returned to leave. Police responded and provided a trespass order for the company to fill out. (7:05am)
  • A Marjorie Road caller reported a suspicious man gave a religious pamphlet to her son while he was riding his bike. Police responded and gave the man a verbal warning to leave the area. (11:40am)
  • Police and Fire responded to a 1-vehicle crash on 93 North near Exit 31. Vehicle struck guardrail and was on fire. No injuries reported. (2:07pm)
  • Police and Fire responded to a vehicle driving into a ditch on 93 North, between Exits 34 and 35. No injuries reported. Vehicle towed. (2:15pm)
  • Wilmington Police shut down Route 38 at Woburn line due to a Woburn fire. (8:12pm)
