POLICE LOG for August 31: Woburn Man Arrested For Drugs; Teens Smoking Marijuana In Public; Bad Crash Near High School

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, August 31, 2021:
  • A 3-vehicle crash occurred on 93 South near Exit 31 in the median. State Police handled scene. (5:34am)
  • A caller reported two catalytic converters were cut off two box trucks overnight at Vivint Solar on Ballardvale Street. (6:52am)
  • A caller reported she lost a 14k gold ring sometime over the past 3 weeks at the CVS in Wilmington. Ring has 3 stones with gold leaves on the side. (1:10pm)
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred at Adams Street and Church Street. Airbags deployed. Both vehicles towed. Fire Department transported a juvenile. (3:58pm)
  • Michael A. Bowman (44, Reading) was arrested for Possession of a Class A Drug. Bowman was attempted to hitchhike on Woburn Street. (5:40pm)
  • A caller reported 3 teens were sitting at picnic table at Town Hall smoking marijuana. Police responded and advised teens of public consumption. They were told they’d be cited if loitering or using marijuana at this location. (7:05pm)
