WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Town Manager and Board of Selectmen invite residents of Wilmington to honor and celebrate the 74th Anniversary of India’s Independence from Great Britain.
A brief ceremony will take place at Wilmington Town Hall on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11am outside Town Hall.
The ceremony will include open and closing remarks by representatives from the India Association of Greater Boston, displaying each country’s flags, playing of the respective country’s national anthems and brief remarks by Lou Cimaglia, Veterans’ Services Director and Town Manager Jeffrey Hull.
