POLICE LOG for August 4: Teen Goes Missing From Group Home; Hit & Run Outside Starbucks; Bad Crash At Main St. & Glen Rd.

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, August 4, 2021:
  • Police notified DPW that Boutwell St. sign at Boutwell & Aldrich was missing. (2:36am)
  • A caller reported a hit and run in the Starbucks parking lot. Police were unable to locate involved yellow jeep. Minor damage. Owner is going to attempt to buff door. (8:50am)
  • Police spoke with a resident who was looking for options to surrender her cat. (1:54pm)
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred at Main Street and Glen Road. Medical declined. Both vehicles towed. (2:49pm)
  • Milestone Group Home on High Street reported a missing juvenile. Police were unable to locate. Juvenile was entered as missing into NCIC. (5:15pm)
  • A walk-in party reported she locked herself out of her residence. Police gave her a ride home. Fire Department gained access. (5:48pm)
  • Fire Department responded to reports of propane odor on Fay Street. (8:31pm)
