POLICE LOG for July 26: Gun Brandished In Road Rage Incident; Bicycle Stolen; $200 Found

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, July 26, 2021:
  • Animal Control Officer removed turtle from business driveway to a nearby swamp. (8:54am)
  • A mother reported her son’s bicycle was stolen from Metro at Wilmington Station on Burlington Avenue. (2:50pm)
  • A cell phone case containing $200 was turned in at the station. Police notified owner, who came to pick up. (5:04pm)
  • Fire Department responded to a call of an erratic driver swerving all over the roadway on Lowell Street, almost striking a group of motorcyclists. Vehicle pulled into 99 parking lot. Police responded. Driver checked OK and was advised of complaint. (6:34pm)
  • Police received report of a road rage incident where a gun was brandished on Route 93. Police transferred the call to the State Police. (11:17pm)
