POLICE LOG for July 16: Motorcycle Traveling Over 100 MPH; Man Wrongly Accused Of Hacking; Dog Left In Vehicle

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, July 16, 2021:
  • Police notified State Police of motorcycle going more than 100 MPH on 93 South. Police passed off pursuit to State Police. (1:44am)
  • A caller reported a Hispanic male was walking in the Harris Street/Cedar Street area with iPad, hacking people’s information. Police responded. Situation checked OK. Man was housesitting a home on the street. (9:59am)
  • Police received report of a dog in a vehicle in Market Basket parking lot. All 4 windows were cracked. Dog not in immediate distress. Police advised owner to leave AC running or take dog out of vehicle. (5:48pm)
  • Train gates were stuck down on Kilmarnock Street. Amtrak notified. (8:49pm)
  • A caller reported operator a vehicle threw napkins out window of vehicle on Route 62. (9:23pm)
