POLICE LOG for June 19: 2 Drivers Issued Summons; Car vs. Tree; Injured Hawk

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, June 19, 2021:
  • Jeremias Reyes (60, Revere) was issued a summons for Leaving The Scene Of Property Damage & Passing Violation. A caller reported a hit and run in the are of Mobil on the Run on Lowell Street. (1:14am)
  • An injured hawk was reported at Amazon Logistics on Fordham Road. Message left with Animal Control Office and number given for wildlife rescuers. (10:32am)
  • Police assisted Fire Department with chimney fire on Clark Street. (11:09am)
  • A resident reported cars were speeding up Fiorenza Drive at 60 MPH+. (12:11pm)
  • Market Basket Manager reported panhandler playing accordion was creating traffic hazard by sitting in roadway section of parking lot. Police responded. Panhandler agreed to move to a shaded area. (2:23pm)
  • A car struck a tree near Lynch Materials on Salem Street. One vehicle towed. Unknown injuries. One cited for marked lanes violation. (7:25pm)
  • Luiz Correia-Campos (37, Woburn) was issued a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. (10:11pm)
