POLICE LOG for June 6: Driver Arrested; Tools Stolen From Yard?; Vehicle Strikes Guardrail

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, June 6, 2021:
  • Shanise Talia Diaz (28, Quincy) was arrested for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License and Speeding. (3:03am)
  • A caller reported while he went inside his house, a vehicle went onto his property and stole his bag of tools. Police responded and eventually located vehicle and driver. Driver said he thought the tools were being thrown away as they were near the street. Driver returned the tools. Caller was satisfied. (5:16pm)
  • Police responded to multiple reports of a mother yelling at and possibly hitting her daughter at Town Beach. Police restored the peace. Other groups of individuals who were arguing left prior to police arrival. (8:12pm)
  • A vehicle struck and damaged a guardrail on Middlesex Avenue. Vehicle lost its power steering. No injuries. Vehicle towed. DPW notified to fix guardrail. (8:41pm)
