POLICE LOG for June 5: Driver Issued Summons; Balloons Causing Issues With Wires

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, June 5, 2021:
  • A caller reported a large snapping turtle on a retaining wall on Lawrence Court. Police officer removed turtle. (10:07am)
  • Balloons on wires at Town Park were causing sparking and arcing. Fire Department and Reading Light Department responded. (12:21pm)
  • Benjamin Gregson Chase (30, Framingham) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License For OUI. (12:54pm)
  • Police provided an escort for the WHS senior parade. (5:15pm)
