POLICE LOG for May 13: Erratic Driver; Suspicious Vehicles; Missing Package; Trailers Damaged

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, May 13, 2021:
  • Police notified Wilmington DPW of excessive trash in the High School Student Parking Lot. (1:56am)
  • A caller reported trailers parked behind his Ballardvale Street building have been damaged. (8:32am)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout in the Market Basket parking lot. (1:16pm)
  • A Chestnut Street resident reported a missing package. (3:20pm)
  • An erratic driver was reported on Shawsheen Avenue, driving up on the curb and crossing the double yellow line. Vehicle crossed into Billerica and stopped at Shell Gas Station. Billerica Police notified. (7:35pm)
  • A caller reported a road rage incident on Salem Street. (7:52pm)
  • A rabbit was struck and killed by a vehicle on Grove Avenue. (8:18pm)
  • A caller reported suspicious vehicles in the Shawsheen School parking lot. One individual got out of a vehicle, approached him, asked if he had any marijuana, and got back into the vehicle. Man was described as black, in his 30’s, wearing a red shit with blank plants.  Vehicles were gone by the time police arrived. (8:42pm)
