POLICE LOG for May 12: Dragon Rescued From Sewer; Wakefield Woman Issued Summons; Worcester Man Issued Summons; School Bus Breaks Down

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, May 12, 2021:
  • Police noted the fire hydrant at Aldrich Road and Forest Street is leaking. (4:25am)
  • Police gave Benvento driver a written warning for an unsecure load after a gravel spill on Route 62. Company sent a cleanup crew. (6:51am)
  • Police stood by on Ashwood Avenue will students were transferred off a disabled school bus and onto a working one. Bus towed. (7:09am)
  • Maria D. Caser (62, Wakefield) was issued a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle and Use An Electronic Device While Operating A Motor Vehicle (1st Offense). (10:21am)
  • Animal Control Officer rescued a bearded dragon in a storm drain near the Wilmington Middle School. Dragon was brought to Wilmington Wild Things.
  • A driver reported a road rage incident involving another driver spitting on the hood of his car. (4:58pm)
  • Keon D. Grey (30, Worcester) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. Grey was involved in a minor crash on the 93 Exit 40 off-ramp. (6:10pm)
