POLICE LOG for May 9: How Did A Market Basket Carriage Wind Up There!?!; Grill Fire

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, May 9, 2021:

• A caller reported an unattended ride-on mower in the pedway at the Woburn Street School. (8:36am)
• Police and Fire Department responded to a 2-vehicle crash near Bank of America on Lowell Street. Injuries noted. Police assisted with paperwork exchange. (4:16pm)
• Fire Department responded to a grill fire on back porch of Fernbank Road. (5:39pm)
• Police was out with a vehicle behind the Market Basket plaza. Lyft driver waiting for customer from Panera Bread. (9:12pm)
• Police notified DPW of a Market Basket carriage in the Town Beach parking lot. (10:49pm)
