WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Memorial Library recently hosted Julie Morgenlender, editor of the new nonfiction book, The Things We Don’t Say: An Anthology of Chronic Illness Truths, in a virtual lecture.
Morgenlender discussed how we define chronic illnesses, how they differ and overlap with disability, and the truths of people’s experiences. She also read a few passages from her book and discuss their meaning, and answered questions.
