POLICE LOG for April 14: Dump Truck Losses Its Load At Busy Intersection; Litter Concerns On Lowell Street

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, April 14, 2021:
  • A caller reported a large bag of trash in the roadway on Lowell Street near Textron. DPW notified. (8:20am)
  • A Honda rear-ended a Hyundai on Aldrich Road. No injuries. Airbag deployed. One vehicle towed. (8:21am)
  • A Taft Road resident reported her trash barrel was missing. DPW notified. (9:54am)
  • A large dump struck lost its load with large pile of dirt in middle of intersection at Route 125 and 93 North Exit 41 ramp. A trail of dirt went down Ballardvale Street. (10:35am)
  • A caller reported littering in the area of Textron driveway occurs everyday around lunchtime. Caller is concerned about the nearby wetlands. (1:43pm)
  • Police notified DPW of broken glass by parking lot entrance of Yentile Farm. (5:53pm)
  • Police moved along some juveniles who were sitting on the bridge on Bridge Lane. (7:05pm)
