WILMINGTON, MA — Gloria A. Hayes (Wardynski), age 86, of Wilmington, formerly a long-time resident of Allston, passed away on April 17, 2021.
Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Leo J. Hayes, Sr., devoted mother of Donna M. Biggins & her husband Stephen of Wilmington and the late Leo J. Hayes, Jr. Loving “Nana” of Jill & Steve Ventre of Tewksbury, Stephen Biggins & fiancé Jenni Surprenant of Wilmington, Michael & Kristen Hayes of Framingham and “Gigi” to her great-grandchildren Katelyn, Alissa, Ryan, Emily, Gabby and Liam. Cherished daughter of the late John and Mary (Torrone) Wardynski, dear sister of Dorothy “Dotty” Tehan of Allston, Richie Wardynski & his wife Mary of Charlestown, the late Johnny Wardynski and the late Anthony “Sonny” Wardynski. Gloria is also survived by her nieces, nephews and their families.
Family and friends will gather for Visiting Hours at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, MA, on Wednesday, April 21st from 4:00-7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 22nd at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, MA. Interment will follow in Mount Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury. Masks are required to be worn while in the Funeral Home and in Church.
