POLICE LOG for April 11: Police Check All Gas Stations After Strange Call; Child Accidently Calls 911

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, April 11, 2021:
  • A caller frantically stated she was at a gas station next to Arby’s and needed an officer. When told there was no Arby’s in Wilmington and asked where they were calling from, caller stated Massachusetts, then Pennsylvania, then Texas. Police checked all gas stations in found and deemed the call unfounded. (7:30am)
  • Police received a 911 hangup from Horeshoe Lane. Police responded and confirmed it was a child playing with the phone. (10:02am)
  • Police notified Verizon of tree branch on wire at Concord Street and Woburn Street. (7:39pm)
  • Police and fire responded to an illegal burn on Charlotte Road. (7:41pm)
  • Police cruiser got a flat tire on Woburn Street. DPW notified. (9:39pm)
