POLICE LOG for April 10: Well-Being Check; Injured Deer Not What It Appears; Fireworks Complaint

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, April 10, 2021:
  • Police assisted Fire Department with small mulch fire at CVS. (1:03am)
  • Police checked on a male in a vehicle at Town Park/Aprile Field. Man was homeless and checked OK. (1:587am)
  • A concerned neighbor reported a well-being check for a resident on Wildwood Street after bags of food seen on front steps for a long time. Police responded. Bags were no longer on front steps. No car in driveway. No one came to door. (5:18pm)
  • A caller reported 2 unregistered firearms were in a home on Main Street. (7:18pm)
  • A caller reported a deer was struck in the Aldrich Road area. Caller believed deer was deceased. Police responded. There was no deer, just a large cardboard box. (7:44pm)
  • Police responded to firework complaints on Cleveland Avenue. (9:08pm)
