POLICE LOG for April 9: Stranger Following Girl?; Aggressive Driver Nearly Causes Highway Crash

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, April 9, 2021:
  • Police noted trash was left in the parking lot near the playground area at the Shawsheen Elementary School. (12:59am)
  • A caller reported his daughter was followed around a parking lot on Lowell Street by a white man in his 50’s in a black SUV. Police were unable to locate. (10:56am)
  • A Church Street caller reported someone placed furniture in his dumpster. (1:01pm)
  • A caller reported an aggressive driver on 93 North. Behavior almost caused an accident. Police were unable to locate, but will follow up with Eastern Vents System, which owns the vehicle. (4:52pm)
  • Police issued a driver a citation for having 4 juveniles (between ages 8 and 12) unsecured in the back of the vehicle. (6:13pm)
  • A caller reported a small black 4D traveling in excess of 100 MPH on the wrong side of the road. Last seen on Cook Street near Shawsheeh Tech. Police were unable to locate. (7:43pm)
