POLICE LOG for March 24: Truck Stealing Water From Town Hydrant?; Another Catalytic Converter Stolen From Truck

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, March 24, 2021:
  • Water Department reported a truck was taking water out of a hydrant on Lowell Street near Burger King. (7:10am)
  • A caller reported a catalytic converter was stolen off of his vehicle while at the Ristuccia Arena over the past couple of days. (8:37am)
  • A Lockwood Road caller reported credit card fraud. (9:27am)
  • A caller reported hearing what she believes was 5 gunshots on Woburn Street. Police responded. Landscaping company was breaking down 2 metal woodworking horses. Everything checked OK. (1:03pm)
  • Police dispersed a group of vehicles from the Market Basket parking lot. (7:46pm)
