POLICE LOG for March 22: Brush Fire Closes Grove Ave.; Rude Dunkin’ Customer; Rooster Complaint

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, March 22, 2021:
  • Animal Control Officer freed a bat stuck in a driveway on Ashwood Avenue. (10:34am)
  • A walk-in party reported vandalism to the windows at his residence on Jacobs Street. (10:50am)
  • Police received an anonymous noise complaint regarding a rooster at a Washington Avenue home. Board of Health and Animal Control Officer notified. (1:44pm)
  • Police and Fire responded to a brush fire on Burnap Street. Grove Avenue closed down. (2:48pm)
  • Manager at Dunkin’ on Lowell Street reported an ongoing issue with a customer who comes in around 5:30pm and yells at the young female employees about how they make his order.  Police advised manager to have employees call police next time he arrives so they can ID him. (6:20pm)
  • Police were out with an unusual truck group revving their engines in the Market Basket parking lot. (10:06pm)
