POLICE LOG for March 19: Man In Dumpster Not What It Seems; Train Gates Get Stuck For 15 Minutes

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, March 19, 2021:
  • Callers reported train gates at Salem Street and Biggar Avenue have been down for 15 minutes. Police notified Keolis. Police assisted with traffic control. (3:21am)
  • A caller reported she saw a man jump into a dumpster on King Street. Police responded. Man is a contractor working on a house. Checked OK. (6:22am)
  • A caller reported a tire fell off his vehicle on Middlesex Avenue. He has a tow enroute but would like a police officer to respond to the location for scene safety. (11:42pm)
