POLICE LOG for March 17: Driver Issued Summons; Bar Customer Strikes Vehicle Outside Restaurant

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, March 17, 2021:
  • Emily Sherburne (26, Billerica) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License, License Plate Missing, & Speeding. (1:27pm)
  • Manager at 99 Restaurant stated male was at the bar and falling asleep. He decided to leave and struck a vehicle in the parking lot. Operator passed a PBT and field sobriety test. He said he was just very tired. He decided to walk home and will pick up his vehicle later. (2:22pm)
  • Police responded to a motor vehicle crash at Reading Cooperative Bank on Middlesex Avenue. Paperwork exchanged prior to arrival. (2:57pm)
  • A Pouilot Place resident reported her town recycle barrel was missing/stolen. DPW notified. (3:23pm)
