POLICE LOG for March 14: Man Stealing Letters From Burger King Sign; Late Working McDonald’s Employee Gets Attention Of Police

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, March 14, 2021:
  • Police stopped a vehicle for suspicious activity. Vehicle had pulled out from the rear of McDonald’s, which was closed. Situation checked OK. Driver was a McDonald’s employee. (3:25am)
  • A “must turn right” sign on Lowell Street is buried in snow. Police notified DPW. (4:06am)
  • Police notified DPW that 25 MPH sign on Ballardvale Street need to be replaced. (10:34am)
  • A caller reported that at 2:45pm, a man was stealing letters off the sign in front of Burger King. (3:27pm)
  • Police received complaint of outdoor burning on Andover Street. Police advised homeowner to put out fire. Fire Department responded. (5:38pm)
