POLICE LOG for March 13: Catalytic Converters Stolen Out Of Trucks; Vehicle Strikes Pedestrian

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, March 13, 2021:
  • Police notified DPW of a large tree down across the roadway near Wilmington United Methodist Church on Thurston Avenue. (12:43am)
  • Two catalytic converters were stolen overnight from trucks parked in parking lots on Jewel Drive. (9:54am)
  • A caller reported his vehicle was struck while he was parking in the teacher parking lot for football practice at the high school. (11:35am)
  • A vehicle struck 2 pedestrians on Wisser Street. Pedestrians suffered injuries, but refused medical attention. (5:11pm)
  • A caller reported loud noises coming from the High School’s Student Parking Lot. A group of 4-5 kids were throwing a football and eating McDonald’s. Checked out OK. No loud music. Kids were told to remove their trash before they leave. (9:36pm)
