POLICE LOG for March 10: Neighbor Hurts Dog?; Crash Takes Down Sign; Sports Cars Speeding Down Highway

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, March 10, 2021:
  • A Forest Street caller reported her neighbor purposely injured her dog through the fence that separates the two properties. (1:33pm)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout in the Market Basket parking lot. (3:26pm)
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred at Route 62 and 93 North ramp. No injuries noted. Both vehicles towed. Police gave occupants rides. Yield/One Way Sign and Post were struck and need to be replace. Mass Highway notified. (3:53pm)
  • State Police reported several sports cars racing down the highway. Some vehicles pulled off side of the road prior to Exit 40. One party was changing their tire. Police advised vehicles of the complaint. (9:18pm)
