POLICE LOG for March 5: Car Seat Installed Wrong; Threatening Phone Calls; Tires Dumped

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, March 5, 2021:
  • Police noted five tires were dumped behind a building on Main Street. (7:36am)
  • A caller reported a deceased cat in the roadway on Glen Road. Animal Control Office responded. Animal was a woodchuck and was removed. (10:03am)
  • Lloyd Road resident reported approximately an hour ago, an Amazon truck struck her house causing damage to siding and pulled a wire. (12:10pm)
  • Police received a complaint of an orange fourwheeler racing around the Walnut Street neighborhood. Police were unable to locate. (4:44pm)
  • Employee at Simard’s reported a vehicle came through the drive-thru and a car seat was spun facing the other window and not secured. Employee was unsure if a child was actually in it. Police attempted to locate vehicle, but was unable to. (8:09pm)
  • A Gandalf Way caller reported receiving several anonymous calls threatening him, stating they were outside his residence. Police conducted a check of the area and did not locate anything suspicious. (11:17pm)
