POLICE LOG for March 2: Driver Issued Summons; Port-O-Potty Tipped Over & Spilled Into Street

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, March 2, 2021:
  • A caller reported a large tree blocking the entrance to Avalon Oaks. There was no access in or out of the complex. Building’s maintenance was contacted and police responded. (5:56am)
  • A tree fell onto a log cabin on Marion Street. Minor damage to roof. (8:32am)
  • A caller reported 2 wires were down in his driveway. They were Verizon wires. Police contacted Verizon. (10:12am)
  • A Lowell Street caller reported credit card fraud. (1:16pm)
  • A Shawsheen Avenue caller reported additional patrols due to speeding vehicles. (2:43pm)
  • Thomas Brian Burke (25, Peabody) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. Burke’s vehicle has a flat tire on Salem Street. (2:57pm)
  • A caller reported a port-o-potty tipped over and spilled in the roadway on State Street. Company was contacted and will remove port-o-potty from street and place back on property. (5:49pm)
