WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Memorial Library recently hosted a presentation on “Native Seed Balls.”
Native wildflowers have declined greatly due to loss of habitat resulting in a decline in our native pollinators – insects, birds, bats, and other animals. In this workshop, you will learn the process of making and distributing native seed balls, which are a great way to restore native plants to disturbed areas. Presented by Ginger Laurits, a Maine Master Gardener Volunteer and volunteer for Wild Seed Project.
