POLICE LOG for February 17: Driver Issued Summons; Hawk Breaks Window; Tire Left In Roadway

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, February 17, 2021:
  • Police received report of a tire in the roadway at Lowell Street and Exit 38 ramp. Police moved it to side of the road and notified DPW. (8:42am)
  • Animal Control Officer responded to hawk trapped in garage on Factory Road. Hawk had broken window. Hawk flew out of garage on its own. (10:55am)
  • A caller reported her elderly father was driving home from her house down Adams Street and possibly struck something in the area of Adams and Parker, but wasn’t sure. Police checked area and found nothing. (8:00pm)
  • Joel Castillo (23, Lawrence) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Revoked Registration. (8:55pm)
  • Police moved along a group of vehicles from the Shawsheen Elementary School parking lot. (9:25pm)
