SENIOR CENTER SPOTLIGHT: Senior Center Offering Van Transportation, Town Museum Looking For Items To Display

Below are announcements from the Wilmington Senior Center in the latest Buzzell Buzz newsletter:

WILMINGTON, MA — Beginning in February, our van driver Sonja will be providing special transportation on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from noon to 3pm, for the following:

  • Grocery Shopping
  • Barber Shop/Salons
  • Pharmacy
  • Banking

Transportation is still being provided for medical appointments.

Call the Center at 978-657-7595 to schedule a ride.

Please note that due to social distancing requirements, space on the van is limited.

WILMINGTON, MA – -The Wilmington Town Museum is looking for any World War II items for display. In addition, they are also looking for…

  • Photographs and artifacts from the cranberry bogs and ice houses on Silver lake. (Late 19th and early 20th Century)
  • Other old Wilmington photographs
  • Early (before WWII) license plates
  • Unusual old kitchen tools
  •  Milk bottles from Wilmington dairies
  • Old Wilmington postcards
