POLICE LOG for February 2: Snowmobile Stuck On Silver Lake; Car Gets Stuck In Snowbank; Driver Issued Summons

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, February 2, 2021:
  • A car crashed into a snowbank at Nichols Street and Shawsheen Avenue. Tow company was able to get vehicle unstuck. (6:08am)
  • Matthew Peter Bates Valotto (22, New London, NH) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. (7:09am)
  • Police and Fire responded to reports of a tree fire beside a utility pole on Factory Road. (7:46am)
  • Resident reported a fire hydrant was knocked over on Gowing Road. Police notified Water Department. (8:39am)
  • A vehicle crashed into the guardrail on 93 South. Fire Department responded. State Police handled scene. Narcan was administered. Occupant transported to hospital. (1:53pm)
  • Snowmobile became disabled on Silver Lake. State’s Environmental Police handled the scene with assistance from Wilmington Police and Cody’s Towing. (2:21pm)
  • A caller reported while driving on Glen Road, a chunk of ice fell from a tree and cracked her windshield. (6:50pm)
