POLICE LOG for January 30: Lumber Spills Onto Roadway; Fence Knocked Down; Truck Fire

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, January 30, 2021:
  • A Glen Road caller reported her fence was knocked down sometime overnight. (7:16am)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout as the post office. (10:06am)
  • Fire and Police responded to a truck fire on Main Street. No injuries. (10:45am)
  • A caller reported a large amount of lumber fell out of a truck in the road at Main Street and Butters Row. Truck driver appears unaware. Police had contractor retrieve the 2×4 boards. (2:21pm)
  • A vehicle was parked in the fire lane in front of Market Basket. Driver went into the store to buy a cake. She was advised not to park in fire lane. (3:19pm)
  • Police checked on individuals playing on ice at Silver Lake. (5:33pm)
