POLICE LOG for January 27: Crashes On Aldrich, Olson & Ballardvale; Low Hanging Wire Causing Issues On Butters Row

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, January 27, 2021:
  • Police and Fire respond to a 2-vehicle crash on Aldrich Road. One vehicle towed. One involved party evaluated for injury. (7:14am)
  • A 3-vehicle crash involving a plow occurred on Olson Street. No injuries. (7:59am)
  • Low hanging write on Butters Row and Towpath Drive impeding traffic. Vehicles striking wire. Verizon notified and asked to respond ASAP. (11:55am)
  • A Wilson Street resident reported receiving scam text messages. (1:20pm)
  • 2-vehicle crash occurred on Ballardvale Street. Airbag deployed. One vehicle towed. No injuries noted. (1:34pm)
  • A West Street caller reported losing her passport a month ago. (6:16pm)
  • Police cited a driver on King St. Ext. for marked lanes violation and speeding. Driver was spinning its tires throughout the area. (10:17pm)
