VIDEO: Learn About Project Valentine — 20,000 Handmade Valentines Delivered To Seniors In & Around Wilmington Since 2013

WILMINGTON, MA — Watch the latest episode of “Talk of the Town” with host Lisa Kapala, featuring quick, feel-good stories from around town.

In this episode, Kapala interviews Jennifer and Maeve Kennedy, founders of “Project Valentine,” an annual handmade Valentine’s Day Card Drive. The Wilmington family started the Drive back in 2013 with a goal of creating 350 cards to give out to the assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and senior center in town. Project Valentine has grown by leaps and bounds since, expanding to other neighboring communities. The Kennedys have coordinated the collection and delivery of more than 20,000 handmade Valentine’s Day Cards to seniors over the past eight years.
