POLICE LOG for January 24: Vehicle Damaged In Car Wash; Kids Try To Jump Their Bikes Over Moving Cars?

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, January 24, 2021:
  • A caller stated juvenile males made a bike jump going across the roadway at Swain Road and Roosevelt Road intersection are waiting for vehicles to drive by while they jump across the street. Juveniles were gone by the police arrived. (2:51pm)
  • A caller reported their vehicle was damaged at the Golden Nozzle Car Wash. Back bumper was completely hanging off vehicle. Caller filled out report with company. (4:32pm)
  • Police came across suspicious vehicle in Woburn Street School parking lot. Father was teaching son how to drive. (5:58pm)
  • A caller stated a party was stealing tires at Firestone. Police responded. No vehicles on scene or in area. (10:56pm)
